Western
Division
For the 4th year in a row, the Pittsford
Plague won the Western Division. But it did not
come easy this time around, as the race went down to
the final game of the year before the Plague pulled
it out.
It was an interesting year in the West,
as each of the five teams was in first place at some
point in the season. The Coasters showed surprising
offense, but faded in the stretch. The Titans
started slowly, but hit their way into contention and
remained the most serious challenger that Pittsford
faced. But it was pitching and timely hitting
that prevailed, and by winning for the 4th consecutive
season, the Plague did something that no other
Western team has been able to do.
